Sergio Rossi has released a short film, "Magic Kingdom," a modern-day fairy tale of beauty and craftsmanship. The film is an ode to the knowledge and skill of shoemaking, exploring the process of creating a shoe at Sergio Rossi's San Mauro Pascoli factory, from the initial vision and sketch to the finished product. Three whimsical princesses, Alice, Jas, and Bianca, explore the factory where skilled artisans have been creating Sergio Rossi shoes for the past 50 years.
"When I first visited the San Mauro Pascoli factory, I was awed by how it works, and by the expertise and methodical nature of the artisans," said Group CEO Riccardo Sciutto. "It was as if I was witnessing true magic being created right before my eyes. It was immediately clear that we had to tell the story of the Sergio Rossi factory, which is the heart and soul of our company. I teamed up with Bruno Miotto to create a creative video that explores how the Sergio Rossi DNA has remained true to our tradition. We imagined the factory as an enchanted kingdom where three beautiful princesses await their new shoes."
Additionally, Bruno Miotto, the LA-based Italian director who shot the project, said, "I wanted to show the wonder of the product in a stylized and fun way. This Magic Kingdom is a place where magic and reality come together in a modern fairy tale."
