CAMPER, a shoe brand born on the island of Mallorca in Spain, will be opening a pop-up store at Isetan Shinjuku from April 14th to April 27th. A pop-up store featuring a full lineup of collaborations with textile designer Masaru Suzuki, whose bold colors and compositions continue to captivate, including new bags, his first shoe collection "TWINS by MASARU SUZUKI," and playful charms, will be held simultaneously at Isetan Leaf on the first floor of the Main Building and at the Women's Shoes section on the second floor of the Main Building. You can also see displays featuring textiles by Masaru Suzuki.

In addition, Masaru Suzuki will be visiting the store on April 17th for this event, signing fabric swatches that will be given as gifts to customers who spend over ¥5,500 (tax included) that day. Enjoy a rare opportunity to receive exclusive novelty items and meet the artist. Also during this period, a pop-up store will be held in the Men's Building featuring the Camaleon 1975, a reproduction of Camper's first shoes, the Camaleon.

Main Building 1st Floor Isetan Leaf & Main Building 2nd Floor Women's Shoes

This is the long-awaited third bag collaboration between Camper and Masaru Suzuki, and the first in four years. This time, the popular bag series also features a first-time shoe collaboration. In preparation for the collaboration, Suzuki held detailed meetings at Camper's headquarters on the island of Mallorca in Spain.

This was just when the coronavirus was beginning to spread in earnest in Europe, and there were various difficulties, such as delays to prototype samples, and the day after the meeting, a state of emergency was declared, causing a series of flight cancellations, and Suzuki returned to Japan just before the start of the collaboration. "It was an extremely difficult job in many ways, but that also meant we put a lot of thought into it, and I think the finished product is fantastic. We've named this design series “HOP STEP LIFE”." (Mr. Suzuki)
