PAUL & JOE have collaborated with Ojiyama, a century-old Arita ware pottery manufacturer in Saga Prefecture, to create original plates and cafe au lait bowls. These will be the brand's first collection of tableware available exclusively in Japan.

This collaboration was a project that raised funds on the CAMPFIRE platform, Japan's largest crowdfunding service. You can support this crowdfunding campaign until May 25th. For more details about this project, please click here (https://camp-fire.jp/projects/view/321361).

Paul & Joe presents a collection of tableware for today's changing lifestyles and increased opportunities to spend time at home. Through this crowdfunding project, Paul & Joe designed tableware to brighten your heart and bring warmth, and make your time at home even more enjoyable.
The lineup consists of nine types, including original plates (large and small, three types of each size) and cafe au lait bowls (three types). These will be proposed as return content.
The larger "large plate" is designed to add elegance to the table, whether used as a single plate for lunch or dinner, or as a large serving dish when dining with family and loved ones. The smaller "small plate" is the perfect size for serving cakes, cookies, and more. In addition, the "cafe au lait bowl," which was carefully designed by a Parisian brand, is a multi-purpose bowl that can be used not only for cafe au lait, but also for serving breakfast cereal, yogurt, and more.

The "Chrysanthemum" (a type of chrysanthemum) pattern, with flowers scattered across a white background and pastel colors, has a cute and elegant feel. It comes in a two-tone color scheme of blue and pink, and the large plate is bordered with chrysanthemums, while the small plate and cafe au lait bowl have a gorgeous design with small chrysanthemums scattered throughout.

Nunette, the beloved cat of the brand's creative director, Sophie Mechaly, is a real cat who appears in various Paul & Joe items and has become a star. This collection of tableware features her adorable face set against a warm beige background. The large plate features a circle of Nunettes with the "PAUL & JOE" logo in the center. The small plate features a pop-style all-over pattern, while the cafe au lait bowl features a simple design with Nunettes' faces accented with the brand logo on the back.
During the Edo period, Arita was divided into districts, each with its own distinct style and technique for producing pottery. Ojiyama Kiln, which produces the pottery for this collaboration project, was located in a district that specialized in everyday tableware, and continues to produce pottery that is durable and easy to use.
Paul & Joe hopes that this collection, created in collaboration with Arita ware, which reflects respect for tradition in modern lifestyles, will add color to many people's time at home and will also serve as an opportunity to promote Arita ware, a pinnacle of Japanese art and traditional craftsmanship, among younger generations.
