"Land of nowhere," a photography-focused installation exhibition by visual artist Takako Noel and hair salon TETRO, will be held at Omotesando ROCKET from January 13th to 18th, 2017. Takako Noel is a visual artist whose work spans a wide range of fields, including photography and styling, and she has worked on the image book for the rapidly rising fashion brand AKIKOAOKI. This photo-focused installation exhibition is organized by TETRO, a hair salon in Uguisudani, Shibuya, a neighborhood closely associated with youth culture, including music, art, and fashion. During the exhibition, a selection of Takako Noel's previously unseen photographs will be on display in a space featuring paintings, photo projections, and plants. Artist Sakuragi Daigo (D.A.N.) will also perform music and poetry inspired by the works on display for the first time. In addition, limited edition T-shirts (5,000 yen) commemorating the exhibition, as well as photo books and photographs, will be on sale.
