RED Valentino has released its Fall/Winter 2013-2014 advertising visuals. Photographed by Tim Walker, the images capture the fantastical world of the collection, inspired by the Grimm fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel." This season's heroine is a whimsical and innocent dreamer. The world she glimpses is captured through the lens of a fairy tale. Styles include Gretel's ribbons, Hansel's flannel, small sweaters paired with large checks, shorts paired with compact capes, and lace socks. Arabesque patterns accent the Tyrolean landscape, and colorful embroidery is scattered throughout the wardrobe. Velvet, loden wool, angora, and plaid are the primary materials featured. Hedvig Palm is featured as the model. Art direction was handled by REM, the Italian art direction agency that works with top brands. REM has been working with Valentino since Spring/Summer 2009. The photoshoot took place in London.
