IKEA Japan, the Japanese subsidiary of IKEA, a Swedish home furnishing company with a vision of "creating a better everyday life for the many people," will be holding the "More Nordic Food Fair" for a limited time from March 11 to May 16, 2021. This marks the first time that a Nordic cuisine fair will be held at IKEA Japan.
Why not try a different kind of Nordic cuisine at IKEA? Check out traditional Swedish dishes with unique names. Try "Jakob the Flying Flying," an addictive stew with the unexpected combination of banana and chili, and the popular Swedish "Kebab Pizza," now available in a plant-based version. Enjoy "Jansson's Temptation," an anchovy and potato gratin, and juicy roast venison on a single plate. Other dishes include a salad of shrimp tossed in dill mayonnaise served on mashed potatoes, and soup made with MSC-certified cod.
