Barbapapa, the popular French picture book character for which Plaza Style Company, a subsidiary of StylingLife Holdings Inc., holds the master license, has collaborated with KINOKUNIYA, a long-established supermarket chain operated by Kinokuniya Co., Ltd. Limited-edition merchandise will be available at PLAZA, MIniPLA, and select KINOKUNIYA stores nationwide from March 5, 2021.

The highly anticipated second installment of the highly popular collaboration between Barbapapa, the beloved picture book character that celebrated its 50th anniversary last year (2020), and the long-established supermarket chain KINOKUNIYA! A total of seven limited edition designs will be available, including special bags and lunch pouches with cute Barbapapa designs.

The highlight of the collection is the "canvas tote bag," which will add an accent to casual outfits. This super cute tote bag features Barbapapa peeking out from the pocket on the surface and the symbolic KINOKUNIYA logo "embroidered." It's large enough to hold a 500ml PET bottle upright, and has a convenient design with a total of four pockets on the outside and inside!

The "Lunch Pouch," "Zipper Pocket Bag," and "Eco Bag with Carabiner" come in two colours, and the colours sold at PLAZA and MIniPLA stores are different from the colours sold at KINOKUNIYA stores, so be sure to check them out! (Both colours are available for purchase at the PLAZA online store.)
