Lucien Pellat-Finet, known as the "King of Cashmere," will be hosting a pop-up store featuring the world's finest cotton, "Sea Island Cotton," on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building from March 3rd to 9th.

This pop-up will also feature a customization event for cotton knitwear that will be available only at this event. Guests can choose from two styles (crew neck and V-neck) in five colors each: white, black, powder pink, light blue, and peppermint green (79,200 yen including tax). They can choose from three motifs (skull, leaf, or peace) on the back of the knitwear, or three colors of studs (black, white, or silver). The customization service is available for a fee (11,000 yen including tax) and takes approximately three weeks to complete.

Sea Island cotton is known as "God's gift" and "the jewel of fibers," and is known in Japan as Kaito cotton. This rare cotton, sourced from Barbados, a Caribbean island in the West Indies, is the world's highest quality, and combines the feel of cashmere, a silky luster, exquisite softness, and fiber strength, making it a long-time favorite among fans as Lucien Pellat-Finet's signature material for the spring/summer season.

Lucien Pellat-Finet believes that "luxury is impossible without sustainability," and not only does he achieve the highest quality, he cultivates cotton that is friendly to the global and social environment, adhering to standards such as limiting the use of pesticides and water, fiber quality, health and safety, working conditions, and the prohibition of child labor and forced labor.
