Harper's Bazaar x 007 Spectre "Bond Girl" Fashion Show

Nov 20, 2015

The fashion show "TOKYO BONDGIRL COLLECTION," a collaboration between Harper's BAZAAR magazine and the film "Spectre," was held at Roppongi Hills Arena on November 16th. Harper's BAZAAR produced the fashion styles of the "Bond Girls," synonymous with 007. Models wearing collection brands such as BOSS and ROBERTO CAVALLI walked the catwalk to the sound of the 007 theme song, "Writing's On The Wall," sung by Sam Smith. Masami Tanaka was hired as stylist, making it a full-scale fashion show. For the final look, model Jessica Michibata, a huge fan of the film, appeared in a blue cocktail dress inspired by Léa Seydoux, who plays the Bond Girl. The event was hosted by Cream Stew's Arita Teppei, the official ambassador for "Spectre."

Also at the venue, James Bond's favorite car, the Aston Martin DB10, with an estimated value of approximately 560 million yen, was unveiled for the first time in Japan.

To commemorate the release of "Spectre," the combined January/February issue of Harper's Bazaar, on sale from November 20th, features an eight-page feature on the fashion styles of Harper's Bazaar's "Bond Girls."
