The new BEND LOW shoe model, which was released in Fall/Winter 2020, is now available in a spring/summer version. The upper material has been updated to breathable canvas, making it suitable for a lighter spring/summer look while maintaining its comfort.
The combination of canvas and suede is casual yet creates a sophisticated look for your feet, making it the perfect shoe for outings like cherry blossom viewing and walks in the coming season. The new OSWEGO model is a slip-on style with no shoelaces. The canvas upper provides the same comfort as the lace-up BEND LOW.
This pair of shoes perfectly complements casual and sporty spring/summer styles, making them perfect for strolls along the seaside with shorts or for everyday wear around town, pairing well with denim.
Like the Fall/Winter 2020 models, they feature a cork-PU midsole, and both models feature cork visible from the heel, creating a distinctive BIRKENSTOCK look. Cork is also used in the midsole, making the forefoot highly flexible and providing a snug fit for the entire foot, supporting a stable push-off. The cork absorbs shock, reducing the transmission of impact, making them less tiring to wear for long periods of time. The breathable canvas upper also ensures breathability, making these sneakers ideal for a season of increased outdoor activity.
Both the BEND LOW and OSWEGO models are available in unisex sizing. They come in two color variations: navy MIDNIGHT and beige SANDCASTLE. The SANDCASTLE is also available in a suede model, similar to the 20FW model.
