The sixth annual amfAR (American Foundation for AIDS Research) charity auction took place in Milan, Italy, in September. Supported by Bvlgari and Mercedes-Benz, the auction raised a total of 1.5 million euros. A black-tie gala dinner kicked off the event, hosted by longtime amfAR supporter Heidi Klum. The auction, which followed cocktails and dinner, featured a wide range of items, from art to luxury goods. Bvlgari offered a yellow gold Bvlgari Bvlgari watch worn by actor Matthew McConaughey at the 2014 Emmy Awards. The watch, which sold for $54,000, was presented to the winning bidder along with a signed portrait of McConaughey. After the auction, singer Grace Kones took to the stage and entertained the audience with hits such as "La Vie en Rose," "Slave to the Rhythm," and "Pull up to the Bumper." The event was followed by an after-party sponsored by fashion brands Vionnet and Le Baron. The charity auction was attended by Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of the Bvlgari Group, along with designer Kenneth Cole, models Bar Refaeli and Alessandra Ambrosio, model Poppy Delevingne (sister of Cara Delevingne), actor Alexander Ludwig, singer Bella Thorne, Margherita Missoni, third generation Missoni designer, models Jessica Stam, Izabel Goulart, Toni Garrn, actress Ashley Madekwe, and actor Gale Harrold. The event featured a number of distinguished guests, including celebrities such as Robert Harold, Luke Evans, actress Michelle Ryan, and Princess Clotilde Courau of Venice and Piedmont.
