RMS Beauty, a raw cosmetics brand by Rose Mary Swift, a makeup artist known for her work with numerous celebrities and leading fashion magazines, is making her Japan debut. It will be available at select Cosme Kitchen locations on November 15th. Rose has been a makeup artist for over 20 years, working on magazines like Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, as well as campaigns for Louis Vuitton and Ralph Lauren, and creating makeup for celebrities like Miranda Kerr and Sofia Coppola. A few years ago, Rose became aware of the connection between health issues and the chemicals used in cosmetics, and began developing cosmetics that support long-term health and beauty. Based on the concept of "products that are truly good for the body, moisturizing and radiating skin," she created natural color cosmetics using organic ingredients. Another distinctive feature is that almost all of her products use unheated coconut oil. In the manufacturing process of many cosmetics, raw materials are heated at high temperatures, which can remove nutrients such as enzymes and vitamins that are good for the skin. To avoid this, RMS Beauty processes raw materials with minimal heat when manufacturing.
The "Volumizing Mascara" (3,800 yen) contains mineral pigments and organic waxes (beeswax and carnauba wax). It creates a voluminous look while caring for your eyelashes. The eyeshadow "Cream Eyeshadow" (3,800 yen) doubles as a beauty cream and moisturizing cream, so you can expect anti-aging care while beautifully coloring your eyes.
Other products include "Lip Cheek" (4,800 yen), which can be used on both lips and cheeks, "Lip Shine" (3,400 yen), which is formulated with organic oils, waxes, and butters for high moisturizing power while being lightweight, "Uncover Up" (4,800 yen), a light-feeling concealer, and "Luminizer" (4,900 yen), a highlighter with a satin pearl shine.
