Musician Kiyoharu was born on October 30, 1968, in Tajimi, Gifu Prefecture. His real name is Mori Seiji. The eldest of three siblings, he attended Tajimi Prefectural Technical High School. He began his musical career while still a student. He formed the rock band Kuroyume in 1991 and led the band's major label debut in 1994. Their third album, "feminism," debuted at number one on the Oricon charts in 1995. When Kuroyume went on hiatus in 1999, Kiyoharu formed his own label, FULLFACE. While pursuing his solo career, he also led the rock band SADS as the vocalist. The band's second album, "BABYLON," debuted at number one on the Oricon charts. However, SADS went on hiatus in 2003 due to the departure of several members. After releasing his first single, "EMILY," in 2004, he focused on his solo career. In 2009, they held a one-night Kuroyume reunion concert, finally announcing the band's official disbandment. However, in 2010, they announced the resumption of Kuroyume and SADS activities. In 2011, Kuroyume released a new single, "Misery," and in 2014, they embarked on what they declared would be their final long tour, "BEFORE THE NEXT SLEEP." Meanwhile, SADS released the album "THE 7 DEADLY SINS" in 2010. During his Kuroyume days, Kiyoharu, whose trademarks included Chrome Hearts and rubber soles, garnered charismatic popularity as a fashion leader of Shibuya punk. He also produced his own brand, serving as director of Moonage Devilment. He also led other brands, including CHARMCULT and Jubilee & Mayhem, for a time. He is known to be a fan of Justin Davis silver accessories, and in 2002 they collaborated on a line of silver accessories. The two have since collaborated on a variety of accessories, releasing them into the world. In 2013, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his debut, a luxurious box set called "THE POETICAL WORKS OF KIYOHARU LIMITED EDITION" was released, which included Kiyoharu's first poetry collection, "MARDI GRAS," as well as a DVD, necklace, and perfume.
