The Audrey Hepburn photo exhibition, "Audrey Style: An Unpretentious Way of Life," will be held at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store from February 16 to March 7, 2021.

From her Hollywood debut, to her days as a shining fashion icon as an actress, and even as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Audrey Hepburn lived her life with conviction.
Born in Belgium in 1929, Audrey Hepburn dreamed of becoming a ballerina, but was discovered by French novelist Colette and made her Broadway debut in the 1951 musical "Gigi."

At the same time, Audrey was chosen to play the princess in the Hollywood film "Roman Holiday," where she gracefully played the elegant princess, beginning her path to stardom. Her hairstyle, with short bangs and curls on the sides, was featured in many media outlets and magazines as the "Hepburn cut." She appeared in films such as "Sabrina," "Parisian Lovers," "Breakfast at Tiffany's," and "My Fair Lady." As an actress, and with her ankle-length Sabrina pants, flat shoes, and simple black dresses, Audrey became a leading fashion icon of a new era, and everyone was captivated by her charm.

In her later years, she also contributed to aiding children living in difficult environments as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. Audrey's principled approach to life as an actress, a woman, a mother, and a person continues to resonate with many people today. This exhibition showcases the unpretentious life of Audrey Hepburn (1929-1993) through approximately 130 photographs, primarily from renowned photographers. Original merchandise related to the exhibition will also be available for purchase at the venue! Don't miss this opportunity. :
