
An event featuring original prints of world-famous film actresses from the Kobal Collection, a London-based institution boasting one of the world's leading collections of film star photography, is being held at Daikanyama T-Site until Sunday, March 17th. The Kobal Collection was founded in London in 1969 by Canadian-born John Kobal. Its collection of 2 million film photographs has been used in newspapers, magazines, television, publishing, and advertising worldwide. This event will feature portraits of world-famous film actresses, including Audrey Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman, Grace Kelly, Greta Garbo, Ava Gardner, Jean Harlow, Vivien Leigh, and Marilyn Monroe, as well as original prints used for promotional purposes in Hollywood films such as "Gone with the Wind" and "The Seven Year Itch." The Kobal Collection, founded in London in 1969 by Canadian-born John Kobal, boasts two million images that have been used in newspapers, magazines, television, publishing, and advertising worldwide. The event will feature original prints from the Kobal Collection and other international photographers' agencies, including GIP.
All prints on display can be purchased, and framed 8x10 size original prints can be taken home on the spot. Larger sizes and other prints will be shipped after the exhibition ends.
