Australian skincare brand Aesop will release the "Aesop Sauna Duet," a collaboration with Finland's Marimekko, on April 29th. The set includes a 190mL body scrub and a 190mL body balm, and comes with a special cotton bag featuring Marimekko's Vellamo pattern. It costs ¥7,350 and is available at Aesop stores worldwide, the Aesop online shop, and Marimekko online and online stores. The body scrub contains exfoliating agents that remove dead skin cells and leave skin feeling smooth, as well as bamboo stem extract. The body balm contains vitamin E, which has anti-aging properties; vitamin F and vitamin D, which help maintain healthy skin and body; and provitamin A, which is converted into anti-aging vitamin A in the body; as well as plant extracts that help moisturize and soften the skin. The Verammo pattern, created by Marimekko designer Maija Louekari, is a water pattern inspired by the Kalevala, a lyric poem beloved throughout Finland for centuries. This pattern appears not only on bags but also on bottles. Aesop operates over 60 street-level stores worldwide, primarily in Paris, Tokyo, and New York.
