Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Tokyo has collaborated with Japanese bean-to-bar chocolate maker green bean to bar CHOCOLATE to release a single-origin chocolate.


This time, four types of chocolate will be released: two "Chocolate Bars" and two "Bonbon Chocolat Assortments."

The "Chocolate Bars" are made from carefully selected cocoa beans from producing regions such as Peru and Madagascar, and the blend is carefully selected to bring out the individuality of the beans, resulting in chocolates with different flavors such as creamy and fruity. "Bonbon Chocolat" comes in two assortments: a 4-item and an 8-item assortment, combining praline and ganache in delightful flavors like black sesame, raspberry, and coffee. To maximize the flavor, each assortment uses a unique blend of cocoa beans from different regions, such as Peru and Costa Rica. Both will be available at Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Tokyo from December 20th. On the first day of sales, purchases are limited to one per product per person. From the following day, purchases will be limited to 10 per product per person. Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Tokyo offers rare and uniquely flavored coffees from around the world, while Green Bean to Bar Chocolate, a Japanese bean-to-bar chocolate maker that meticulously handcrafts its chocolates using only the highest-quality cocoa beans sourced directly from cacao farms around the world.

This collaboration was made possible by Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Tokyo's shared attitude and values towards coffee, such as its "insatiable spirit of exploration" and "expanding possibilities," which means using only single-origin cocoa beans and organic sugar to maximize the unique aroma and flavor of the cocoa beans. The two companies also share a common community connection, as both have stores in Nakameguro, Tokyo.
