A moving, dramatic musical story is born
This film is a heartwarming, dramatic musical story about three opera singers who continue to captivate music fans around the world: Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo, and José Carreras.

These three men, who love music and soccer, are best friends but also greatest rivals. The "Three Tenors" began their careers as opera singers in 1990, with a legendary concert held at the Baths of Caracalla in Rome, on the eve of the soccer World Cup in Italy.

Time has passed since then, and this year, 2020, marks the 30th anniversary of the start of their activities. This documentary chronicles the trio's 17-year career as the Three Tenors, unearthing never-before-seen backstage footage of their historic performance, and engaging interviews with their loved ones. Seeing the trio truly enjoying music will bring joy and courage to all music fans.

In advance of the film's release, the trailer has been released. Check it out first.

The trailer begins with a concert scene from July 1990 at the Baths of Caracalla in Rome, Italy, where Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo, and José Carreras first appeared on stage together as the Three Tenors, receiving thunderous applause and cheers from the audience. As Pavarotti said, "We wanted to celebrate José's recovery from leukemia," this concert was originally planned to celebrate the hosting of the World Cup and José Carreras's recovery from leukemia. However, the chemistry between these three great singers excited the audience beyond anyone's imagination, and in response to the endless calls for an encore, the three singers onstage met and performed a long rendition of Pavarotti's signature piece, "O Sole Mio," followed by an impromptu harmony between Domingo and Carreras.

In addition, after the huge success of this concert, the Three Tenors took the world by storm, touring Los Angeles, Wembley, and Yokohama. It also reveals behind-the-scenes stories of how the staff sang and recorded the three cheerful musicians so they could remember their songs, as they "didn't really rehearse." 30 years after the Three Tenors first performed together, this legendary concert is still talked about as "the concert of the century" and "a concert that rewrote the history of the classical music world." For the first time, this film reveals rare backstage footage of the legendary concert.

In addition, Luciano Pavarotti's first documentary film, "Pavarotti: The Tenor of the Sun," is currently receiving rave reviews. Be sure to check it out as well.
