The late Kuniyoshi Kaneko and Hiroko Koshino perform "EROS" together in Ginza

Mar 6, 2017

KH Gallery Ginza, which held the "Kaneko Kuniyoshi First Anniversary Retrospective" in March last year, will be holding "Kaneko Kuniyoshi x Koshino Hiroko EROS 2017" starting March 16th. The two artists, who called each other "Neko" and "Hiroko," are known for creating the brand logo featuring Hiroko Koshino holding a fan, a design previously used by the artist. The previous exhibition featured Kaneko's paintings and Koshino's style drawings. This time, under the theme of "EROS," Kaneko will present his quintessential oil portraits and drawings, while Koshino will debut new oil portraits featuring male and female figures inspired by the shunga (erotic prints) of the Edo period. The exhibition will also feature a reproduction of the room where Kaneko's favorite items were displayed, creating a sensual experience similar to peering into his private quarters.

From March 16th to 31st, the first five people to say "I saw Fashion Headline" will receive a set of two postcards for the "Kaneko Kuniyoshi x Koshino Hiroko Exhibition."
