Cross Hotel Kyoto, a city hotel under the ORIX HOTELS & RESORTS brand, is pleased to announce that it will begin selling the "Vintage Japanese Whisky Room" accommodation plan from December 1, 2020, which allows guests to enjoy vintage Japanese whiskey. This plan is available exclusively to guests staying for four nights and five days consecutively between December 30, 2020 and January 3, 2021.

This plan is available in five rooms only and includes one bottle of one of three vintage Japanese whiskies: Yamazaki 25 Year Old (two rooms), Hakushu 25 Year Old (one room), or Hibiki 30 Year Old (two rooms). These whiskies are highly acclaimed not only in Japan but around the world, and are considered particularly difficult to obtain.
The deluxe rooms are located on the seventh to ninth floors, offering carbonated water made with Yamazaki water, the source of the whisky, and a gold glass that evokes the sophistication of Japanese tradition. Additionally, a rotating assortment of appetizers, such as homemade smoked duck and foie gras terrine, will be delivered to your room from the restaurant and bar "KIHARU Brasserie" on the first floor, allowing you to relax and immerse yourself in the charm of vintage whiskey in a private space.
In addition, from November 21, 2020, KIHARU Brasserie will offer around 10 popular types of whiskey, including Yamazaki 18 Year Old, Hibiki 21 Year Old, Hakushu, Yoichi, and Miyagikyo, and will offer tastings and a free-flow (all-you-can-drink) menu so that even guests other than those staying with this plan can enjoy Japanese whiskey casually.
