On March 23rd, adidas Originals will release seven white-based models from the "EQT" series. The popular "EQT" series, introduced in 1991 to help athletes achieve peak performance and dubbed "The Best of Adidas," gained popularity. In January 2017, the series evolved into a modern model using advanced materials like BOOST and Primeknit. Now, seven new models will be released featuring a white and turbo red color palette for even sharper contrast. The "EQT Support" (¥24,000) features a white woven knit upper with a pixelated noise pattern. Details include premium leather panels, the iconic three-stripes in a tape pattern, TPU support panels, a heel cage, an OrthoLite® sockliner, and three-stripes on the BOOST foam midsole, creating a stunning, uncompromising EQT look from every angle.
The "EQT SUPPORT ULTRA" (24,000 yen) incorporates a new color palette and contemporary elements into a classic 90s design. It retains the same upper materials as the original model, consisting of mesh and nubuck, but is accented with a new white colorway and a TPU support panel in EQT's new signature color, Turbo Red.
The "EQT SUPPORT ADV PK" (22,000 yen) is an innovative silhouette from the EQT series that was well-received when it was released in black, and features a striped Primeknit upper. While retaining the distinctive midsole details, it is finished with a flexible heel panel and shoelaces designed to be integrated with the EQT series' iconic three stripes. The "EQT SUPPORT ADV" (18,000 yen) features a distinctive knit mesh and synthetic nubuck overlay upper, with details such as a supportive TPU panel on the heel and a tape-like three-stripes. The sole is made of an EVA midsole featuring EQT's iconic three-stripes. The "EQT RACING" (18,000 yen), EQT's signature women's model, features a mesh upper with nubuck overlays and toe panels, and the midsole has been upgraded with BOOST foam. The unified white design is accented with a turbo red heel panel. Other models also available include the "EQT SUPPORT RF" (16,000 yen) and "EQT RACING" (16,000 yen). Finally, the "EQT RACING 91 W for emmi" (14,000 yen), a jointly developed model between adidas Originals and emmi, is now available. Based on the EQT Racing, a representative model of EQT that was released in 1991, this chic and elegant pair features khaki and black lines. Pre-orders have already begun at Emmi stores, W&E stores, ZOZOTOWN, and USAGI ONLINE, and from the 23rd they will also be available at the Adidas Originals Flagship Store Tokyo and Adidas Originals shops nationwide.
