Givenchy will release Japan-exclusive models of its popular women's and men's bags at its flagship stores on November 20th. The brand's iconic bag series, Nightingale and Pandora, will be available in limited-edition leopard print designs. Nightingale comes in three sizes (Micro: ¥194,250, S: ¥236,250, M: ¥262,500) and a long wallet (¥84,000), while Pandora comes in an M-size bag (¥220,500) and a new pouch (¥77,700). Available in two colors: brown and white (Nightingale S and M sizes are only available in brown). The men's backpack features a durable, abrasion-resistant nylon body, a leather pocket on the front, and star-shaped and spike-shaped studs on the shoulder straps. The interior is equipped with two leather pockets and a large cushioned pocket that can hold a portable PC or iPad. It comes in two colors, gold and gunmetal, and both are priced at 139,650 yen.
The backpack design is also linked to the matching wallet (44,100 yen) that was released this spring/summer. Studs are one of the brand's signature design elements, and the star shape is inspired by the American flag, which was used as a motif in the 2013-2014 AW men's collection, among other items.
