The TenNine Hike GTX features HOKA's proprietary Hubble(R) heel shape, which maximizes contact with the ground, enhancing cushioning and propulsion. This heel shape and meta-rocker sole construction gently absorbs impact and allows for efficient weight transfer from heel to toe. The outsole features Vibram® Litebase construction, which reduces weight without sacrificing durability, and the upper features a waterproof GORE-TEX® membrane for comfortable protection. The TenNine Hike GTX delivers premium performance on the trail, making it ideal for everything from day hikes to multi-day backpacking trips. HOKA is also committed to using sustainable, environmentally friendly materials to protect the natural environments in which its athletes thrive. HOKA uses sustainable, eco-friendly materials to protect the nature in which athletes run. The TenNine Hike GTX uses recycled fiber for the GORE-TEX fabric upper and recycled polyester for the ARIAPRENE(R). The upper lining, laces, heel pull tab, and collar lining are also made from recycled materials. The durable water-repellent treatment on the upper is done without the use of environmentally harmful perfluorochemicals.
