UNIQLO's T-shirt brand, UT, has announced a collaboration collection with charismatic West Coast skater and artist Tommy Guerrero. Sales begin on June 5th at UNIQLO stores nationwide and online.
Born in San Francisco in 1966, Tommy Guerrero was active as a teenager as the youngest member of the skateboarding team "Bones Brigade," laying the foundations of street skate culture. In the 1970s, he began his musical career with his brother Tony Guerrero, and last December, he released his new album, "The Endless Road," followed by a nine-city Japan tour.
This collaboration features a collection titled "GET RAD," which means "going all out," and embodies Guerrero's history, lifestyle, unique style, and love of skate culture. The collection includes eight items, including four photo-printed T-shirts. Sizes range from men's XS to 4XL (XS, 2XL to 4XL are only available online), and each is priced at 1,500 yen. Some designs are available in two color variations.
