Minna no Gohan Co., Ltd. is implementing the VEG-ICON PROJECT CHIBA as part of a project commissioned by the Narita Airport Utilization Council. This project aims to create an environment where visitors to Japan and health-conscious consumers can easily shop by clearly displaying "Chiba's delicious food" made with agricultural products from the prefecture using vegetarian and vegan marks (icons) and developing attractive sales areas, while at the same time developing new sales channels for high-quality products from businesses in the prefecture. ■VEG-ICON PROJECT CHIBA Homepage

This time, for the first time, we are collaborating with Chiba Vege (General Incorporated Association: Shape of the Future Created by Vegetables), an association that was founded in 2019 to support farmers affected by the typhoon that hit Chiba. The association connects producers with consumers and works to reduce food waste by creating sustainable agricultural systems and distributing produce without waste. Previously, we have set up shelves selling Veg Icon products in Narita and Tako, but this time, for the first time, we are opening our own store! From October 27th, we will be opening a limited-time store in the food section on the first basement floor of Sogo Chiba, where we will be selling Veg Icon products as well as vegetable and tableware sets to help you create a wonderful dining experience!
