London-based denim factory BLACKHORSE LANE ATELIERS is now available in all BRITISH MADE stores. Blackhorse Lane Atelier, which opened in London in 2016 for the first time in 40 years, is based on the slogans "Think Global, Act Local" and "Made by us for life," and produces jeans in its factory along London's Blackhorse Road, based on three principles: "world-class quality" through innovative manufacturing methods that combine tailoring and traditional methods, "establishing a producer community," and "environmental consideration." Committed to being "Made in London," the brand creates jeans that set it apart from other denim brands, such as selvedge jeans and unwashed denim jeans made from organic cotton.
Founder Bilgehan “Han” Ates launched the brand, leveraging his 25 years of experience as a tailor.
