Isetan Shinjuku will host "ISETAN SHUGEI 2025" from August 20th to August 25th in the Main Building 6th Floor Event Hall. As people spend more time at home and reassess their lifestyles, handicrafts are once again attracting attention across generations and genders. In an age of mass production and digitalization, handicrafts are gaining popularity as a new value system, showcasing the joy of creating and cherishing unique items and recycling resources.

The event will bring together a wide variety of expressions, from stylish and free-spirited handicrafts by male artists to updated traditional techniques by a new generation of creators. Participating artists include KENDAI, who sees embroidery as "fabric tattoos" and has created a unique world, KOICHIRO TAKAGI, who creates works using a variety of media centered on animal motifs, and A TWO J, who creates works full of stories. In addition, good walkin UEDA, known as an "embroidery entertainer," will also be appearing on August 20th and 21st.

Another attraction is the opportunity to encounter materials that will inspire your creativity, such as knitting kits from ＜Ame LIFE＞, a lifestyle brand with a cinematic worldview, high-quality materials used in haute couture embroidery, and special plant-dyed threads and fabrics.
