
From July 7th to 20th, Nidi Gallery in Shibuya, Tokyo, will be hosting an exhibition by stuffed animal artist Kataoka Meriyasu titled "Let's Fashion." Each of Kataoka's stuffed animals is individually handcrafted. Each one is unique, each with its own name. Their adorable appearances, like those of humans, seem to have their own unique personalities and personalities, captivating visitors. The exhibition will feature Kataoka's stuffed animals dressed in fashions from 12 brands, including Jenny Fax, Natsumi Zama, sneeuw, BYT, dearie dada, desperate, Hanabira, and SOWA. The opening event, "Kataoka Meriyasu Plush Toy Fashion Show," will be held at Yoyogi Hachiman Civic Hall on July 3rd (participation fee: 800 yen; doors open at 6:30 PM, performance begins at 7 PM). The event will feature musician Ide Kensuke as a guest, and will include a fashion show of stuffed animals dressed in clothes from 12 fashion brands, as well as a live puppet show.
