Klimt Alive, a new exhibition immersing visitors in the magnificent world of Gustav Klimt, a leading Viennese painter of the late 19th century, will be held at Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) from July 18 to October 5, 2025. This exhibition is the latest in the immersive exhibition series produced by Grande Experiences, an Australian planning company that has held exhibitions in over 200 cities across six continents, and Tokyo will be its world premiere. "Klimt Alive" employs an exhibition format that creates an entirely new experience between art and viewers through multi-sensory presentations that stimulate the senses of sight, hearing, and smell. A giant screen is set up in a large, darkened space 7 meters high, and videos featuring Klimt's masterpieces, such as "The Kiss," "Judith," and "Death and Life," envelop the entire space with light, color, music, and even scent. Visitors can feel as if they're inside the artwork, creating a truly immersive experience that sets it apart from traditional art exhibitions.

Visitors can enjoy an experience in which their senses become immersed in the art as they delve into the essence of Klimt's art, such as his golden expression, which symbolizes decorative and sensual beauty, and his deep spirituality rooted in symbolism.
