Adidas will release the Spring/Summer 2014 collection of its collaborative footwear line with Raf Simons, "adidas by Raf Simons," in late March. This second collection features a wide variety of designs, including the "shoe-in-shoe" model, which appeared last season and resembles two pairs of sneakers stacked on top of each other. The much-talked-about "STAN SMITH," which was reissued this year for the first time in two years, has been updated with a crocodile-embossed material and a Velcro fastening. The training shoes, equipped with "adidas Bounce" technology that converts impact energy into rebound energy, feature a design reminiscent of Raf Simons' apparel collection. The collection features comic-book-inspired colors and a combination of various materials, including nylon, leather, sports mesh, embossed fabric, and embroidered fabric. Adidas icons such as the three stripes and the trefoil logo are incorporated throughout.
