Iside KYOAI was born in collaboration with Riku Matsuzaki, a Kyoto indigo dyer who is working to revive Kyoto indigo, a dyeing method that disappeared about 100 years ago. The repeated polka dots are formed through repeated dyeing using beeswax, creating a cloud-like design that symbolizes the harmony of nature and the infinite possibilities of Japanese craftsmanship and design.

Iside Bamboo was created in collaboration with Chinese artist Qian Lihuai, bringing the creative tradition of bamboo weaving to life in a unique way for Valextra. Crafted using the highly skilled bamboo marquetry technique, the dynamic patterns are inspired by the windows of the Duomo in Milan, Valextra's hometown, and the architecture and historic waterways of Lihuai's hometown of Wuzhen.

Iside La Filature was conceived by French textile artist Sandrine Torredemer, known as La Filature. She embroiders tiny silhouettes of iconic figures from Milan and Paris onto the iconic closures of Iside handbags. She also demonstrates her exceptional craftsmanship by custom-making Valextra clients' unique emblems and figures.

Sportami Via, in collaboration with its design studio and the textile arts institute Un Pizzo, has shone a spotlight on the ancient art of Pizzo di Cantù. Founders Agnese Selva and Bettina Colombo used a cylindrical tool to weave a three-thread tubular rope from Cantù's traditional tombolo technique, which they then applied to Valextra's multidimensional Millepunte leather.
