Santa Maria Novella, the world's oldest pharmacy, headquartered in Florence, Italy, has opened a pop-up shop at International Collectors on the 6th floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi. Available until March 31st. The eau de cologne "Santa Maria Novella" (100ml/¥14,700) is said to have been created and brought by Catherine de' Medici when she married into the French royal family in the 16th century, and is still produced according to the original recipe. The natural fragrance, based on citrus bergamot and natural fragrances, makes it suitable for men and women. Rosewater (250ml/¥3,675, 500ml/¥5,250) is made using a recipe dating back to 1381 and is distilled from rose petals that bloom in Tuscany. It can be used in a variety of ways, such as as a room fragrance, body freshener, bath additive, or linen water.

"Taboretta" (4 types, 2 sheets each / 4,200 yen), an interior fragrance made by encasing potpourri in hard wax, comes with a silk ribbon so you can hang it in a closet or on a doorknob and enjoy the scent. The Armenian Paper (18 sheets / 3,465 yen), which comes in a small red box, can be placed directly in a wallet or bag, or burned on a plate to use as incense. It can also be used as an after-meal deodorizer. All of them exude the natural fragrance of plants.

"Chocolatini" (18 sheets / 3,990 yen), which is sold exclusively every year from Valentine's Day through White Day, will also be available. There will be four varieties, including "Fior di Gelsomino," a new milk chocolate scented with concentrated essence extracted from hand-picked jasmine flowers.
