For Saint Laurent's Summer 2025 campaign, renowned artist Francesco Clemente was commissioned to create portraits. Clemente's poetic brushstrokes embody the power and intimate femininity of his four subjects: actors Zoë Kravitz and Isabella Ferrari, and models Penélope Ternes and Ajus Samuel. Captivated by Clemente's expressive approach, Anthony Vaccarello believed his layered palette was a perfect match for the spirit of the Summer 2025 collection.

Since the 1970s, Clemente's art has been shaped by his travels across diverse cultures. After moving to New York in the 1980s, he created a body of work that explored the fluidity of identity—the spiritual and the material, the feminine and the masculine—and played a key role in reaffirming painting as a powerful medium. He also expanded his practice through collaborations with visionary artists such as Andy Warhol, poet Allen Ginsberg, and film director Alfonso Cuarón (1993's Great Expectations).

Clemente's unique perspective on this campaign adds new depth to the dialogue between fashion and art, undoubtedly strengthening their ever-evolving relationship.
