On July 7th, FENDI celebrated its 90th anniversary in Rome, the city where the brand was founded. The event, which opened at the historic Accademia di San Luca within Palazzo Carpegna, also served as a worldwide preview for "The FENDI ROMA," a book showcasing FENDI's 90-year history, identity, and strong ties to the Eternal City. Numerous photographs were specially exhibited in a museum-like setting. The stage then shifted to the Trevi Fountain, where a never-before-seen fashion show for the Haute Fourrure collection, "Legends and Fairytales," was held. At dusk, top models Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid strode gracefully across a transparent catwalk set over the water's surface, looking as graceful as floating fairies.
Following the fashion show, a private dinner was held on the Pincio Terrace in Villa Borghese, offering a scenic view of Rome. The dinner included a gallery filled with Karl Lagerfeld's drawings, which he has been working on since 1965. The venue also featured a special art installation, "Gust of Wind," designed by the world-renowned Paul Cocksedge Studio. Finally, a special performance by Giorgio Moroder, a master artist who has collaborated with some of the world's biggest stars, concluded the evening.
In addition, the "Fendi Rome Artisans of Dreams" exhibition will be held at the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana from July 8th to October 29th. Celebrating the value and pride of the brand as a Roman institution, the event showcases the unique craftsmanship and creativity that has been cherished since the brand's founding.
