niko and ..., a style editorial brand operated by Adastria Co., Ltd., whose mission is "Play fashion!", will release its third collaboration item with leading Japanese fashion designer Chisato Tsumori on September 25th at niko and ... stores nationwide and the official online store, .st. Pre-orders are also now being accepted at the official online store, .st.


niko and ... is a style editorial brand that offers apparel, miscellaneous goods, furniture, and food and beverage. The brand's nine keywords—clothing, food, housing, play, knowledge, health, travel, sound, and Tokyo (UNI9UE SENSES)—are used to provide new discoveries and joy to customers' lifestyles. Following on from the well-received first and second collaborations, this latest collaboration is a wonderful lineup of items that combines Tsumori's richly sensitive ideas, original use of color, and uniquely-focused graphics with the sensibility of niko and ..., which has successfully collaborated with various brands and organizations to date.

In addition to the shirts that were well-received last time, new items such as padded jackets and vests will also be available. The graphics used on the collaboration products were selected from designer Tsumori Chisato's archives for this collaboration. This original textile is made from four different textile patterns, including a hand-drawn knitting pattern and a feather scallop pattern, and is woven together to fit the shape of the padded vest in a patchwork style. The piping is drawn with hand-drawn lines in a trompe l'oeil style.

■TSUMORI CHISATO
Graduated from the Fashion Design course at Bunka Fashion College, Department of Design in 1976. In 1977, she joined Issey Miyake International Inc., led by Issey Miyake. She became the designer of "Issey Sports". In the 1990s, the brand "TSUMORI CHISATO" was launched in the Fall/Winter 1990 season. It participated in the Tokyo Collection. The first store opened in Aoyama in 1995. Shops have since opened in Paris, Daikanyama, Kobe, and other locations.

In the 2000s, the brand won the 20th Mainichi Fashion Award in 2002. The collection presentation venue was then moved to Paris. In 2015, the brand celebrated its 25th anniversary. In 2017, she was active in a wide range of fields, including designing the costumes for the New York City Ballet's "2017 Fall GALA."
