Berluti presented its Spring/Summer 2016 collection in a presentation format at a school for the deaf in Paris's 5th arrondissement. The design studio's latest collection, while retaining the influence of previous designer Alessandro Sartori, who used elaborate stitching on pockets and other areas, featured classic yet casual pieces. Many pieces had a sporty feel, such as a knit and buckskin blouson and a hooded sweatshirt constructed entirely of buckskin, including the ribbing. A true sportswear set, consisting of a jersey sweatshirt and running pants, was also featured. Gradients are a key accent this season, seen on T-shirts and cardigans, as well as on shoes and bags. A bag combining nylon and Venetian leather was also presented, embodying the "classic casual" theme. Among the unusual items on display were a bag that could hold three bottles of Krug luxury champagne or three pairs of Berluti shoes, and a table football table wrapped in Venetian leather. There were also a variety of excellent accessories, such as a bracelet that used the structure of a shoe keeper. The venue then turned into a cocktail party, where attendees had a great time with activities like exercise, soccer, and fishing.
