A pop-up shop featuring a collaborative collection between TILA MARCH and David Hicks, a leading interior designer of the 1970s, will be open on the second floor of the main building of the Isetan Shinjuku store from April 17th to 23rd. After the pop-up shop closes on the 24th, the collection will be available for purchase at Urban Closet on the second floor.
The "TILA MARCH + DAVID HICKS" collection was created by Tamara Taichman, the brand's creative director, who was a fan of David's work, which he had close ties to the British royal family, and who adapted it from his archives. The collaboration began in Spring/Summer 2012. The lineup includes tote bags, camera bags, mini bags, clutches, and leather accessories. Apparel sales are scheduled to begin on the 24th.
TILA MARCH is a bag and accessory brand founded by Tamara Taichman and her partner Nicolas Berdugo in the summer of 2006. Tamara, who was working as a fashion editor in Paris, created a bag for her vacation and used it during Paris Fashion Week, which caused a stir. The bag, "Zelig," has become an icon of the brand. In 2009, the brand opened its first directly managed store in the world in Minami-Aoyama.
