Givenchy releases new men's bag, "Antigona Soft," named after a princess from Greek mythology

Aug 27, 2020

For the Fall/Winter 2020 season, Givenchy is adding a new men's line to its Antigona Soft bag collection. Named after a princess in Greek mythology, the Antigona Soft is a new version of Givenchy's iconic Antigona bag. The elegant bag first appeared in the 2020 Women's Pre-Fall Collection lookbook. The new men's version is a maxi size, originally unveiled on the Paris Men's Collection runway in 2020. While at first glance, the design appears identical to the women's version, the lines, structure, and balance have been fine-tuned for men. Inspired by Givenchy's signature blend of masculinity and femininity, this new iconic bag is sensual and inclusive.

A standout among Givenchy's men's leather goods, the Antigona Soft bag combines urban design with functionality, making it versatile for everyday use, weekend getaways, and short trips. It comes in two sizes: large (black) and maxi. The maxi version is available in black, white, and red woven leather, wool with a Givenchy chain logo print, and classic black calf leather. A detachable shoulder strap, spacious double zippered compartments, and an interior pocket offer multiple carrying options. The exterior double handles and turn-lock fastening further enhance its sophisticated appeal.

The maxi size of Antigona Soft will be available at Givenchy stores from September 1, 2020.
