UNIQLO has announced its first collaboration with designer Michael Bastian on polo shirts. With attention to detail, a variety of models are available, including button-down styles with shirting on the placket, collar, and cuffs, and wide-spread collar styles. Each comes with an original brand tag. 71 colors and patterns are available, priced at 1,990 yen each. Bastian is a New York-based men's designer. He launched his own brand, Michael Bastian, in the fall of 2006, and was named Menswear Designer of the Year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) in 2011.
