This limited-edition capsule collection celebrates Nagai's signature "LIFE" series, featuring his artwork printed on canvas bags exclusive to Dover Street Market Ginza. This collection combines Moynat's traditional leather goods craftsmanship with iconic artwork of lions, chimpanzees, owls, starfish, octopuses, and whale sharks in bold red and blue tones.

The collection features bags from the best-selling canvas series, the "M Collection," featuring the Maison's signature monogram, introduced in the early 1900s by painter and designer Henri Rapin. Henri Rapin is also known as part of the design team for the Imperial House of Prince Asaka, located at the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum, which was completed in 1933.

Regarding the "Dover Street Market Ginza" series, Nagai said, "I think it's wonderful that Moynat can present this collaboration at Dover Street Market Ginza, which is directed by Rei Kawakubo. It's also a popular destination for many younger generations, so I hope they will be interested in this collaboration. Animals come in all shapes and types, and they coexist with each other. I focus on the life within me and how it fits in with the animals I encounter. Rather than painting realistically, everything is extracted from my own world, expressing curiosity and cuteness in a simple way. My aim was to create something that inspires and symbolizes that. That is the "LIFE" series." "I'm impressed by the exceptional skills of Moynat's artisans. The way the animals are incorporated into the bags, passport cases and card cases is very lively, very familiar and there's a sense of unity. I feel that the items will expand the dreams of those who own them," he said.

Using carefully selected materials and crafted by artisans with exceptional skills, the company has produced one-of-a-kind leather bags and accessories that are like works of art. Since its founding, the company has not divided labor among its artisans; instead, each product is meticulously crafted with a single artisan responsible for every step of the process. The beautiful and delicate color combinations of these items, born from a rich sensibility and free-thinking, carry on traditional savoir-faire into the modern era, and while timeless and sophisticated, they are also easy to wear daily and fit a variety of occasions. Their Parisian and elegant designs are garnering attention in the fashion industry.
