Olympia Le Tan and cosmetics brand Lancôme have teamed up to create a limited edition collection of just 100 pieces, Olympia Le Tan Minodier (157,500 yen), which will be released on April 26th. Available exclusively at the Lancôme counters at the Shinjuku Isetan flagship store and the Ginza Mitsukoshi store, the collection includes six shades each of Lancôme's popular Rouge in Love (lipstick) and Vernis in Love (nail polish), housed in a handmade Olympia Le Tan clutch box. The inside of the box is engraved with a serial number and the words "Hand made with love in France." A video commemorating the collection's release is currently available on YouTube.
Born in London and raised in Paris, Olympia Le-Tan gained experience at brands such as CHANEL and BALMAIN, before founding her own eponymous accessories brand in 2009. She attracted attention with her designs of handmade book-shaped clutch bags featuring felt patchwork and embroidery. Her women's wear collection began in the 2012 Autumn/Winter season and has been shown at the Paris Fashion Week.
Lancôme has also collaborated with Alber Elbaz, creative director of LANVIN, with a special collection scheduled for release in June.
