Let's go on a date with Korean idol "Boyfriend"! Photobook release commemorative exhibition held at Shibuya Parco

Apr 19, 2013

To celebrate the release of the photobook by K-pop idol group BOYFRIEND, which made its Japanese debut last August, the "Let's Date!" exhibition will be held at Parco Museum in Shibuya starting April 26th.
The exhibition recreates the world of the photobook "BOYFRIEND DATE BOOK: Let's Date!" (Published by Parco), which includes a DVD and allows viewers to feel like they're on a date with the members. The exhibition will feature actual date outfits and accessories used in the shoot, as well as selected best shots from the photobook and behind-the-scenes photos. The photobook will be on sale at the venue ahead of its release in mid-May. Original merchandise will also be available, including "Dear" necklaces (8,925 yen) featuring each member's initials and "PALOMITAS" popcorn (525 yen, 420 yen), the members' favorite flavor.
Formed in January 2011, Boyfriend is a six-member group that has won three Korean rookie awards. The group is centered around twin brothers Youngmin and Kwangmin, with the oldest member being Donghyun, the leader, Minwoo, a former child actor, lead vocalist Jeongmin, and main vocalist Hyunseong. Their Japan-only album "We Are Boyfriend" reached number one on the Oricon charts, and their third single, "Hitomi no Melody," is currently airing as the ending theme for the anime series "Detective Conan." Their first starring role in the film, "GOGO Ikemen 5," is scheduled for release this summer.
