Ralph Lauren releases "Polo Pony" T-shirt collection to support recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake

Apr 9, 2015

On May 1st, Ralph Lauren will release the "Ralph Lauren Children's Literacy Collection," featuring children's T-shirts.
In 2014, Ralph Lauren began a social contribution initiative aimed at improving literacy rates among children around the world. The collection's literacy T-shirts (priced from 3,000 to 3,600 yen) are part of this initiative. Models featuring the brand's iconic "Polo Pony" feature messages in 12 languages. Other items include girls' exclusive T-shirts, tote bags, and notebooks.
25% of sales from the collection will be donated to the Japan School Library Council, a public interest incorporated association. The plan is to provide books purchased at local bookstores with the desired books to schools in Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima prefectures affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
