3.1 Phillip Lim will open a pop-up shop at the Isetan Shinjuku store. The shop will be located on the third floor of the main building, at The Stage #3, from May 6th to 10th. The shop will showcase the brand's 2015 Summer Collection, marking its return after a four-year hiatus. The collection, themed "Vacation," is inspired by the "Boro culture" deeply rooted in Japan's common people. Its easy, primitive, and functional aesthetic lends a romantic feel to outfits. The base colors are muted white and indigo. For this collection, Philippe introduces his imaginary muse, "Soleil." Her worldview lies somewhere between instant pop and culture, and she is deeply interested in cultural events, yet humorous. The shop will also feature a display by Yuka Maruyama, a stylist who primarily works for fashion magazines. In a space reminiscent of an urban resort, we wanted to find an essential look that would be suitable for a vacation.
