GU, whose brand message is "YOUR FREEDOM - the freedom to reinvent yourself," will begin selling its third collaboration collection with STUDIO SEVEN, a fashion brand whose creative director is NAOTO, a performer from the popular groups EXILE and Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS, at GU stores nationwide and online from August 7th.

The theme of this capsule collection for the Fall/Winter 2020 season is "Wonder Forest Cafeteria." Inspired by the good old American diners, the collection is inspired by the workwear worn by deli workers. Based on a red theme, the designs feature nostalgic signboards and neon signs, and, based on an idea from NAOTO, a renowned gourmet himself, feature pop graphics of hamburgers, curry, donuts, and pancakes.

Also making their debut in this collection are the popular "chef pants," a unisex item that can be enjoyed by both men and women. Also new is the "chef shirt," offering a selection of trendy items in a set. The lineup also includes items that were well-received in the first and second waves, including oversized t-shirts inspired by workwear, allowing you to coordinate your outfits perfectly. Don't forget to check out the kids' items that parents and children can enjoy together. :

GU x STUDIO SEVEN Special Page

A special "GU x STUDIO SEVEN" page will be launched today on the GU online store listed below. The page features the entire collection lineup, image visuals, and a special movie. The song "YUM YUM" played in the special movie was produced by the production unit "YVES&ADAMS," who have worked on many LDH songs, including "J SOUL BROTHERS III" and "PKCZ®." The lyrics, written specifically to match the theme of the special collection, and the catchy track, reminiscent of 90s hip-hop, add excitement to the collection.

About "STUDIO SEVEN"
This fashion brand is headed by NAOTO (EXILE / Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS) as creative director. He interprets the world of music and dance culture, which has been his background and an active part of his life since childhood, from his own unique creative perspective and incorporates it into his products. He pursues new possibilities for expression by incorporating universality, humor, and cutting-edge elements into his designs, graphics, printing techniques, and materials. NAOTO's expressive power as an artist and NAOTO's expressive power as a designer are linked, sometimes contradictory, to create creations that incorporate these two sides.
