Photographer Franck Bohbot's "SWIMMING POOL" exhibition will be held at the Paul Smith SPACE GALLERY in Omotesando from April 25th to June 28th. Franck Bohbot is a photographer who continues to capture the relationship between the individual and architecture, based on cinematic iconography. Since 2008, he has been producing artistic works featuring public facilities and urban landscapes, earning acclaim for their beautiful composition and color balance. His "SWIMMING POOL" series, released in 2013, won an award at the International Photography Awards, an international photography competition. For this series, Franck traveled to Paris and New York to explore swimming pools with beautiful contours. He captured the beauty of these buildings as urban oases, even after the people have left. The interior, which was once practical and business-like, has changed over time, creating a unique atmosphere with its symmetrical structure, spatial distortions, and the shades of chlorinated blue.
Paul Smith is also collaborating with "SWIMMING POOL." Swimwear (16,800 yen) will be on sale at the Paul Smith Men's Shop from early June.
