London-based publisher IDEA, renowned for its sensitive lineup of publications linked to the music and fashion scenes, is now releasing two new books in limited quantities.

Limited to 1,000 copies, "IT COULD BE LOVE" is a collaborative collection of works by The XX, one of the most dynamic young British bands today, and fashion photographer Alasdair McLellan. The book features images and stills taken during the production of The XX's music video for their single "On Hold," which took place in Marfa, Texas. Making the most of the large A3 format, the photobook's 24 pages feature candid shots of the band members and poetic landscapes that evoke their beautiful, melodic songs. Limited to 500 copies, "PRIVATE IMAGE" is a Polaroid photo book by Jeannette Lee, who served as manager of the rock band Public Image Limited (PiL), formed in 1978, and later became a member, capturing the friends she worked and lived with in London in the 1980s. The book also includes a number of previously unpublished photographs of renowned artists, including the Polaroid photo used as the cover of the band's 1981 album, "The Flowers of Romance," as well as Sheila Rock, a photographer who has been photographing musicians since the 1970s, and singer Judy Nylon, making it an even more special read. Both photo books are available exclusively at Daikanyama T-Site and BOOKMARC TOKYO. To coincide with the release, Daikanyama T-Site is running a pop-up space displaying IDEA-related products until June 30th.
