The campaign video for 3.1 Phillip Lim's 2013-2014 Autumn/Winter women's collection has been released. It was filmed in Tokyo during designer Philip's visit to Japan in May to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the brand's flagship store in Aoyama. The theme is "Just As Is (SONOMAMA)," inspired by the cafe racer culture and free-spirited spirit that was popular in the 1960s. Kiko Mizuhara, a renowned model and actress, stars in the film. Louis Simonon, son of The Clash bassist Paul Simonon, and members of the legendary rockabilly group BLACK SHADOW also appear. BLACK SHADOW performed at the brand's pop-up bar at Sunday Issue in Shibuya last year. The video was directed by James Lin DJA, with behind-the-scenes footage shot by But Sou Lai, a longtime photographer for the brand.
