Benelic Co., Ltd. will release four types of skateboards from "GBL," a brand known for its products featuring characters and motifs from Studio Ghibli works.

This summer, "GBL," a brand where Studio Ghibli fans can enjoy adult fashion, will open its first brick-and-mortar store in the shopping complex "RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK," scheduled to open in Shibuya, Tokyo. GBL will now be releasing authentic skateboards that can also be used as interior décor. The four decks, based on "Castle in the Sky," "My Neighbor Totoro," and "Spirited Away," feature striking and sleek designs, including the "Robot Soldier" (¥12,000, tax not included), which incorporates the familiar fire pattern of skater fashion, and the "Aburaya and No-Face" (¥12,000, tax not included), which features eye-catching bold graphics.
The deck itself is made of Canadian maple, which is known for its hardness and durability, making it a lightweight, easy-to-ride, and authentic deck. To enhance its appeal as an interior décor, the deck itself is sold without any accessories, making it a great display piece in your home. Look forward to the opening of the GBL MIYASHITA PARK store, which will offer a selection of never-before-seen items.

We plan to provide further updates on the "GBL" brand's product lineup. Please continue to stay tuned for GBL information.

[About GBL]

[Brand image] GBL *Abbreviation for Ghibli.
Cross the valley and into the forest. Board a boat and head to the sea. Ride a broom and take to the sky. What was the first Ghibli film you saw? I want to cherish the excitement and memories of that time forever. I want to always feel close to my favorite works and characters. With these thoughts in mind, the brand "GBL" for adults was born. Just as Studio Ghibli creates its animations with passion, we are committed to creating products with the utmost attention to materials and design. Let's go on an adventure together.
