Since its founding in 1898, RIMOWA has established itself as a pioneer in travel through its skilled craftsmanship and functional design. Now, RIMOWA is announcing a special collaboration collection that combines RIMOWA heritage with the classic elegance of New York-based AIMÉ LEON DORE.

Fueled by a shared commitment to timeless design, this collection is inspired by the golden age of travel in the early 20th century and RIMOWA's pioneering spirit, representing a resurgence of romanticism in travel. The two items featured, the RIMOWA x AIMÉ LEON DORE Chest and the RIMOWA x AIMÉ LEON DORE Cabin, beautifully combine the essence of classic travel with a modern sensibility.

Made in Germany and carefully assembled by hand, these items fully demonstrate RIMOWA's high level of technology and craftsmanship. Based on designs from RIMOWA's popular Classic Collection, the items are finished in AIMÉ LEON DORE's signature green color, paying homage to the brand's heritage.

The design of the "RIMOWA x AIMÉ LEON DORE Chest" is reminiscent of an archive piece from RIMOWA released in 1964. RIMOWA trunks released in the 1960s were designed to be easily stacked when traveling by train. The newly released item inherits this design while evolving into a sophisticated piece that can be used not only for travel but also as interior décor.

Both items feature brown leather handles exclusive to the collection, and a logo badge on the front of the case features the names of both brands embossed in gold. The exterior is made of aluminium. The lining is made of resilient nylon and features a unique pattern inspired by AIMÉ LEON DORE's signature artwork, an ancient Greek postage stamp.
